Its thin diaphragm enhances low-frequency performance, delivering a warm sound through the original C414 transformer, particularly effective at high signal levels. With three active filter presets to match kick drum character, the output level is automatically reduced by 10 dB when activated. The filter settings are adjustable via a switch on the microphone, and without phantom power, it operates in passive mode, delivering the instrument's pure sound.
