Paiste Symphonic Gongs are works of sonic mastery. Their flat, scraped surface meets a dark rim that flows back from the face creating a unique shape. They are hand-hammered from nickel silver in the European gong-making tradition. The lightweight metal, the unique shape, and the scraped face all combine to create an overall sound that is very clean and meditative, with beautiful harmonics that expand over the deep fundamental tone.
